Dr. Matthew Rubacha is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Rubacha is a member of a number of national and regional medical societies.

Upon completion in Orthopaedic Surgery residency at University of Toronto, Dr. Rubacha completed fellowship training at Houston Methodist Hospital in Orthopaedic Sports Surgery. He is the author of many scientific articles and book chapters on orthopedic disorders and their related surgical techniques.

Dr. Rubacha’s clinical interests include all disorders relating to the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and leg. He has a particular interest in joint replacement including total shoulder, knee, hip and minimally invasive surgery (arthroscopy) of the shoulder, knee, elbow and wrist. This includes arthroscopic reconstruction of the shoulder and rotator cuff, elbow arthroscopy, ACL & MCL repair, as well as various other upper and lower extremity surgeries. He treats patients with fractures, tendon, and nerve injuries, including microsurgical reconstruction.
